The Chaos Of Type

[ OBJECTIVE ]

Experiment typeface with a series of creative processes. Then, use the typeface as a visual element to create movie posters.

[ APPROACH ]

I tried many creative methods on the Century-Schoolbook typeface. I manipulated the typeface with as many new materials as I can, such as water, soap, paper, and  bits of wood. After that process, I found one typeface had a unique vertical pattern. Then, based on this pattern, I used Photoshop to create a chaotic feeling and applied that in the design of a set of movie posters.
